i don't have to get the big jumpy dog.... yet.

there was a certain merry christmas moment that was too amazing not to share....

the kids are working on it. the oddity of it all was everyone was quite excited at the idea of a new baby when i was throwing it out there to test the waters... but then the minute it became fact no one was quite as sure. 


i knew it was going to be a stretch when i went with my standby question that i used to get them excited about luci in my belly...
"do you guys want to get a really big, jumpy dog or a baby?"
 (they aren't really dog fans.. in particular big jumpy ones.)


where as with luci it was an immediate rally cry of baby-- this time they did have to think about it. they eventually decided baby... but i was sweating bullets. i mean there is no sending this christmas back.
if i had to get a big jumpy dog plus a baby? forget about it.


so we are excited. :)
