sneaky peaky

i am home with a sick baby. it was inevitable. the last 3 sundays somebody has woken up with a fever and a froggy throat. little luci is sleeping it off, curled in my lap right now... nothing sadder than a sweet babe that scares herself every time she coughs. :( thankfully i have seen it run it's course through ari and gray and it seems to be a 2 day fever with a junky cough... but they were still up and playing and not too crabby about the whole ordeal. with each child we add it takes longer for those sickies to 'run their course' through our house. :(


speaking of sweet babe's... meet caroline. she had a head of hair at 2 days old thicker than mine. seriously. i photographed her at the hospital when she was 2 days old and then at her house at 10 days. i have never seen a tiny baby so NOT interested in sleeping. seriously -- i did not get one totally sleepy shot either time! but oh my... she makes luci seem like a giant... i love newborns. a lot. this could be problematic... :)
